ACLS Renewal Skills Day
Designed for: Very experienced healthcare providers who are renewing their current certification.. Please review "Which ACLS, PALS, or NRP Course Is Right For Me?".
Description: This renewal course includes demonstration of skills and the written test. Successful completion of the skills and written test is required for certification. See Study Materials below. Please note the following:
- Precourse preparation is required
- This course expects students have a current Healthcare Provider CPR certification, have reviewed the 2008 ECC/AHA Guidelines, and have reviewed all pre-course materials in their provider manual and CD (i.e. pharmacology, ECG, case scenarios, etc.)
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification must be provided to Education Resources at least 2 weeks prior to the course
- Basic Rhythm test with a score of 84% or higher must be completed and returned to Education Resources at least 2 weeks prior to the course
- Precourse Assessement must be completed and returned to Education Resources at least 2 weeks prior to the course
Agenda: 9:00 AM-1:00 PM; must successfully complete written and skills examination. Please be on time as course begins directly at start time.

Fees:
CMC Employees = No charge, pre-registration and a $50 deposit is required to confirm registration. CE money can NOT be used for the deposit. The deposit will be held and refunded if cancellation is made at least 5 business days in advance of the course. Deposit will be refunded upon completion of scheduled course. Exceptions will be made for scheduling conflicts/illness, which have been confirmed by employee's unit manager.
Non-CMC employees =$75 Tuition plus Required Books = ACLS Provider Manual =$35. Optional (but strongly recommended) ECC Handbook = $15. Pre-registration required. Limited spots available. Refund, minus books may be given if cancellation is made within 5 business days of course
