When you are outside, protect your skin from the sun’s ultra violet (UV) rays. Shirts, hats, sunglasses and sunscreen protect your skin from exposure to UV rays, a significant factor in skin cancer. Know the ABCDE’s of skin cancer and melanoma detection.

A Is it Asymmetrical?
B Does it have an irregular Boarder?
C Is it an unusual Color?
D Is the Diameter larger than a pencil eraser?
E Any change in Elevation?

This program has been presented to more than 800 students in Western Montana to date.  For more information or to schedule a Sun-smart presentation call the CMC Foundation at 406-327-4141.
