All Minerva Lectures are free and open to the public. They are presented in the Dayroom in the Rehabilitation Institute of Montana on the Community Medical Center campus. Lectures begin at 5:30 PM, unless otherwise noted. CMC Pediatrics Unit Open House Monday, March 22
On March 22, we will celebrate Pediatric care at Community Medical Center and the completed remodel of the CMC Peds Unit with a public open house from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on the CMC campus. The afternoon will include opportunities to learn more about the breadth of quality pediatric services offered at Community, in partnership with Seattle Children's Hospital and other pediatric specialty physicians from across the nation. We will also dedicate the Kemple Playroom and offer special thanks to the family and friends of Samuel Patrick Gallagher (2003-2009), in whose memory gifts were given to equip every Peds room with a TV and DVD player. Sun-Smart Education Available
The Steven Robinson Memorial Endowment at CMCF provides Sun-smart education programs for students of all ages. Read a personal message from the parents of Steven Robinson.
When you are outside, protect your skin from the sun’s ultra violet (UV) rays. Shirts, hats, sunglasses and sunscreen protect your skin from exposure to UV rays, a significant factor in skin cancer. Know the ABCDE’s of skin cancer and melanoma detection.

C Is it an unusual Color?
D Is the Diameter larger than a pencil eraser?
E Any change in Elevation?

BioLife Teams Up with CMC Foundation for Breast Health
Plasma donors can make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. The CMC Foundation and BioLife Plasma Services have teamed up so plasma donors can designate all or a portion of their compensation to a special account at the Foundation to raise money for the Breast Center at Community Medical Center.
