CareFlight is an air ambulance service staffed by registered nurses and EMT-Paramedics who are specially trained to provide critical care in situations where fast transport is vital to the patient's survival. We have highly specialized and advanced equipment to provide that care within the space and weight limitations of the helicopter.
Our pilots have extensive experience flying in a wide variety of terrain such as the mountainous conditions found in Western Montana. Together they form a team that will transport your loved one safely to your chosen destination. We are an unbiased service and will fly to any facility requested as long as it is medically indicated.
Other Factors affecting our destination include the distance, transport time, safety and availability of appropriate medical treatment at the requested destination.
General information about emergency transport: Air medical transport is used in situations where the patient has a medical emergency that requires treatment not available at the patient's present location. In such situations, all of our concentration, energy, and space must be allocated to providing the best care possible for that patient. Due to these factors, CareFlight can only transport the patient. Please drive carefully on your way to see your loved one at the hospital. The safety of our patients, families, and flight crew are very important to us.
