Class Ratio: 16:1

Description: Postpartum is an extremely important time for a new family. This class is designed to help you care for yourself and your infant both physically and emotionally. We will learn coping strategies for new parents’ relationship, comfort techniques, physical and emotional changes for Mom, Dad and baby, sign and symptoms of Postpartum Depression, Bathing, Diapering, Hunger Cues, and more. These strategies will leave you feeling confident and capable for those important first 6 weeks of your baby's life.

An optional breast feeding class is offered with this class the last Thursday of each month from 7:00-9:00 p.m. to be held in the Rehab Dayroom. There is no additional cost for the breastfeeding class
