CMC was one of 15 Montana hospitals to receive MPQH's Hospital Quality Award -- the organization's highest award -- Sept. 21 in Billings at the annual convention of MHA, An Association of Montana Health Care Providers (formerly the Montana Hospital Association). MPQH has presented the awards for the last four years.
All Montana hospitals are eligible to apply for the award, which is given to both small rural hospitals and large urban hospitals demonstrating a high level of quality. MPQH is the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization for Montana, Wyoming, Hawaii and Alaska and works for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to promote proven best practices and transform the way healthcare is delivered.
