CMC Foundation Healthcare Scholarships: No matter what shape health care takes in the future, there will always be a need for people who provide skilled and compassionate care. CMC Foundation is dedicated to helping the students of today who will be the caring health professionals of tomorrow. Each year we award scholarships of $500-$1000 to Missoula County high school students and Community employees interested in healthcare careers. Since our Healthcare Scholarship program began in 1990, we've awarded more than 247 scholarships for a total of $130,000.

Print the application for the scholarship you wish to apply for, fill it out (please make sure it's typed), and then mail it to our address at the bottom of this page.

In choosing Healthcare scholarship recipients we look at:

academic performance
involvement in well-rounded activities
intention to pursue a career in a medical or healthcare career
personal motivation

Each year we select students with a wide variety of interests and health career goals. Past recipients have pursued education or training in areas such as pharmacy, phlebotomy, recreation therapy, nursing and pre-medicine programs.

Help Us Sponsor Healthcare Scholarships: Why Sponsor a Healthcare Scholarship? Because these scholarships are awarded to students from all around Missoula County, your sponsorship is an excellent way to show your commitment to our local students. But it goes even further. By supporting deserving students today you ensure caring and qualified medical practitioners for our community in the future. You may sponsor a scholarship for a tax-deductible contribution of as little as $500. For each $500 contribution we receive, we are able to add one more scholarship award for area students.

This year the CMC Foundation celebrates its 14th year of awarding healthcare scholarships. Thanks to our partnership with the sponsors listed below, our program has grown enormously over the past 14 years. During this time we have awarded 247 scholarships, for a total of $130,000. This year 21 high school students and 10 CMC employees received scholarships worth a total value of $17,000.
