Improve strength, endurance and flexibility in a comfortable, supportive, fun group setting!
Warm-water pool therapy is one of the reasons Community Medical Center's Rehabilitation Institute of Montana is a regional leader in rehabilitation. Exercising in water helps to increase strength and circulation while reducing pain and decreasing stress on joints and muscles. In addition to supporting individual therapeutic sessions, our pool also provides a fun and inviting atmosphere for a variety of group exercise programs designed to improve participants’ health throughout their lifetimes. Individuals share experiences in a small, relaxed and fun group setting while achieving their health goals through exercise.
We offer a variety of warm-water classes, designed by licensed physical and occupational therapists:
MOMercise for pregnant women and new moms
This supportive environment helps pregnant women and new moms exercise and stay healthy with the opportunity to share experiences at this exciting time in life.
First Splash for parents and their infants or toddlers
Kids experience the joy of playing in water, while moms and/or dads connect and bond with their young ones.
Breast Cancer Survivor Water Fitness for women diagnosed with breast cancer
This program is designed specifically for women who have felt the impact of breast cancer in their lives. A small supportive environment uses warm-water therapy for stretching and aerobic exercise to improve a sense of well-being.
Go With The Flow for chronic pain
Patients work toward improved functional mobility and reduced pain with this low-impact warm-water therapy program.
Sweet ‘n Low for adults with diabetes
This aquatic exercise class for adults with diabetes is an ideal supplement for any active diabetes treatment program.
Aquatic Movement Treatment for arthritis
Our therapeutic pool offers the ideal environment for patients with arthritis to maximize their exercise program. The warm water environment provides comfort, support, and freedom of movement.
LifeSteps for general health and weight control through exercise
A combination of stretching and other exercises is designed to increase overall strength, range of motion and endurance, and to help participants with their weight management goals.
