Hand Surgery Fellowship at the Joseph H. Boyes Fellowship in Los Angeles

Bio

Thomas A. Rickard, M.D. is originally from Long Beach, California and is a Stanford graduate. He completed his medical school and orthopaedic training at LAC-USC Medical Center. He followed this with a Hand Surgery Fellowship at the Joseph H. Boyes Fellowship in Los Angeles, and was subsequently asked to join that practice. He then directed the Hand Service at Los Angeles Children’s Hospital until he moved to Montana in 1992. In addition to being an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at USC, Dr. Rickard directed the Hand Service at LAC-USC Medical Center until 1984. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a Member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Rickard’s practice is limited to surgery of the hand and elbow. He began practicing in Missoula in 1991.
