Unmatched Numbers

Better on paper. And in real life, too. At CMC, experienced hands, deeper resources and more advanced programs create two kinds of outcomes. The kind you can only see in the smile on a patient’s face. And the kind you can actually measure:

Extraordinary credentials. In a national, independent study of 100 hospitals, CMC ranked 4th in joint replacement success.

Getting the patient home sooner.
An average hospital stay of nearly five days is the national standard for joint replacement surgery. Here, it’s half as long—about 2 1/2 days.

Excellent—and convenient—rehabilitation. Only 5% of CMC patients go to an offsite rehabilitation facility for further recovery. The esteemed Rehabilitation Institute of Montana is right next door. In many other orthopedic programs, 85% of patients must seek rehab offsite.

Experienced and talented people. 75% of nurses at Community Medical Center are certified in orthopedics.

Surgery that is markedly safer. The incidence of infection is far lower at CMC than the alternative.

Recovery that begins immediately. The vast majority of patients here are up and moving around the day of surgery.

What do these numbers mean for you? On average, CMC orthopedic patients heal far more quickly and comfortably. And upon healing, their activity level, range of motion and overall satisfaction are decidedly improved.
