Community Medical Center is a leading healthcare system in Western Montana with a longstanding tradition of providing personalized care close to home—offering adult and pediatric treatments and technology combined with medical specialties and certifications often only available in major cities.
Community Medical Center is a health system located in Missoula with a county population of 120,000. Our adult and pediatric speciality services are provided to people across Western Montana.
Our pediatric service line, Community Children's, leads the state in pediatric medicine offering pediatric specialities that would normally require a trip to Seattle, Denver or Salt Lake City.

Missoula’s abundance of recreational opportunities allows residents to live the quintessential Rocky Mountain lifestyle. Three major rivers run through the area. Within an hour’s drive, there are several major lakes and blue-ribbon trout streams, making the region a haven for kayaking, rafting, fishing and boating. Just a stone’s throw from town, there are thousands of acres of public land and hundreds of miles of trails to explore. In the winter months, the days may grow shorter, but the list of things to do does not. Five downhill ski resorts are within striking distance as well as cross country skiing, ice fishing and snowmobiling.
Missoula is also a regional destination for shopping and dining, featuring three distinct shopping districts and an abundance of restaurants, cafes, coffee houses and breweries with something to fit all budgets and palates. Known for its eclectic culture, visitors will find this arts and culture hub filled with a seeming endless array of arts and entertainment events. University of Montana sports, symphony, theatre, film festivals, author’s readings at independent bookstores, ballet and farmers markets.

We have modified our conditions of employment to include COVID-19 vaccination unless a documented medical or religious exemption is approved.
Employees may meet this requirement by providing proof of having been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with any of the three COVID-19 vaccines (manufactured by Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson). Employees are considered fully vaccinated if they are at least two weeks past their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine regimen.
