What Is Diabetes? : Diabetes is a disease that prevents the body from utilizing glucose or blood sugar, which is produced from the food we eat and converted to energy by our bodies. Diabetes can make you feel tired, hungry, and thirsty all the time.

Individuals with diabetes can experience frequent urination, blurred vision, and numbness and tingling of feet, or other symptoms. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, please see your doctor.

If you have diabetes, the Diabetes Management Program at Community Medical Center is a great resource for answers about living with diabetes.
