Medical providers may contact this center to communicate directly with hospitalists and specialists, to refer patients and/or transfer a patient for inpatient or outpatient care. Our team has access to ground and air transport (helicopter and fixed-wing) that can be used to transfer patients from all medical facilities in the region.

Visitors

We ask that visitors be limited to family, or a friend if no family members are available. Visits are dependent on a patient's condition and current hospital visitation guidelines. Call to speak with the patient's care provider.

In the ICU, Community Medical Center's highly skilled staff uses technology combined with personalized care to care for critically ill patients and their family. The ICU staff includes registered nurses with certification in advanced life support, critical care physicians, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, social workers, palliative care nurse practitioner and clinical nurse specialists. In Community Medical Center's ICU, located on the third floor, patients receive constant monitoring and specialized care due to the serious nature of their illness.

Accredited Chest Pain Center

Community Medical Center is accredited as a Chest Pain Center by the American College of Cardiology (ACC) Accreditation Services. Community Medical Center has demonstrated expertise in quickly assessing, diagnosing and treating patients experiencing chest discomfort or pain, and is one of only three hospitals in Montana to achieve the Chest Pain Center designation.
