Community Medical Center welcomed expecting mothers and their loved ones to a Women & Newborns Open House on Thursday, October 2, 2025. The event featured guided tours of the Labor & Delivery Unit, Antepartum Unit (specializing in high-risk pregnancies), Mother & Baby Unit, and NICU. Guests enjoyed refreshments, explored educational resources, and had the opportunity to connect with obstetrics providers and staff ready to answer questions and offer support.

The open house not only helped families become familiar with the hospital’s comprehensive maternity services but also reinforced Community Medical Center’s mission of making communities healthier – one family at a time.

This event follows the recent announcement that Providence St. Patrick Hospital will be closing their Family Maternity Center. Community Medical Center recognized this as an opportunity to both reaffirm its commitment to existing patients and welcome new families who will now be delivering at Community.
