BEE Award Recipient: Celebrating Sam Brown from Respiratory Therapy

December 04, 2025

Community Medical Center is proud to recognize Sam Brown from Respiratory Therapy as our newest BEE Award honoree. The BEE (Being Exceptional Every day) Award celebrates team members who consistently go above and beyond in supporting our nurses—and ensuring every patient and family feels cared for, informed, and safe.

As we like to say, a DAISY can’t survive without a BEE, and a BEE can’t survive without a DAISY. Together, these awards honor the exceptional teamwork that makes outstanding care possible.

A Family’s Story

Sam was nominated by the family of an infant patient who was born unexpectedly while they were visiting Montana. Their daughter, Ava, arrived early due to HELLP syndrome, and Sam was the first respiratory therapist they remember caring for her.

“Sam’s professionalism and expertise reassured us that Ava was receiving the best care possible. As we got to know him, his positivity, enthusiasm, and genuine concern for our wellbeing really made a mark on us. I cannot think of anyone more deserving of this award—he embodies all that is special about Community Medical Center.
PS – He also patiently educated us on the complex world of RT for preemies.”

Honoring Outstanding Care

Sam’s dedication, compassion, and expertise exemplify what it means to “Champion patient care,” a core value at Community. We celebrate and thank him for his commitment to our patients, families, and care teams.

Congratulations, Sam—and thank you for the incredible impact you make at Community Medical Center!
