Community Medical Center Welcomes Gregg Gerasimon, MD, Specializing in Cardiac Electrophysiology

Community Medical Center is pleased to welcome Gregg Gerasimon, MD, to it cardiology team. Dr. Gerasimon is a double board-certified cardiac electrophysiologist and a U.S. Army veteran. With more than 25 years of experience, he brings deep expertise in cardiac ablation, pacemaker and defibrillator implantation, cardiac resynchronization therapy, and the management of complex and inherited arrhythmias. He has performed thousands of intracardiac procedures and previously spent five years as a cardiology fellowship program director, helping train the next generation of cardiologists.
He earned is medical degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., surgery internship at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX, internal medicine residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Fort Lewis / Tacoma, WA, cardiovascular diseases fellowship from Brooke Army Medical & Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, TX and clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship from Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.
"After moving from Texas to Montana, I am struck by the natural beauty of Western Montana," said, Gerasimon said. "It is an honor to partner with patients in managing, improving and often resolving their cardiac issues."
Outside of work Dr. Gerasimon enjoys spending time with his wife and children exploring the many recreational opportunities available in Montana.
Dr. Gerasimon works with the team at Community's Heart Center, which includes non-invasive cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists and endovascular specialists. The Heart Center is located on the hospital campus.
