Steven Bader Honored with BEE Award
August 07, 2026
At Community Medical Center, great care isn't only delivered by our clinical teams — it's woven into every interaction a patient has, including the ones with the people who keep our patient rooms clean, safe, and welcoming. That's why we're proud to celebrate Steven Bader, a housekeeping team member on our Med/Surg unit, as the latest recipient of our BEE Award.
The BEE Award recognizes staff members who go above and beyond in the way they care for patients — and Steven has earned this honor many times over, nominated by both coworkers and the patients he serves.
Going the Extra Mile
Patients consistently describe Steven's kindness and attentiveness. After cleaning one patient's room while she was away, Steven made sure to return later just to personally let her know the job was complete — a small touch that made her feel cared for.
Another patient shared how Steven offered to wait while she used the restroom intentionally delayed mopping so she wouldn't have to cross wet floors on her crutches. It's this kind of thoughtfulness — noticing what a patient needs before they have to ask — that defines the experience Steven creates.
Known and Loved by Our Patients
Steven knows his patients by name and genuinely looks forward to seeing them each day. Many have gone out of their way to bring him small tokens of thanks for the comfort and care he provides. Nurses and colleagues describe him as thorough, detail-oriented, and endlessly kind — someone who brings warmth and professionalism to every room he enters.
A True Reflection of Our Values
Steven's story is a reminder that exceptional patient care comes in many forms. His dedication, compassion, and pride in his work exemplify what we strive for every day at Community Medical Center.
Congratulations, Steven, on this well-deserved recognition!
