Medical Detox Program Launch Event

Community Medical Center (CMC), in partnership with Evergreen Healthcare Partners, is launching Western Montana's only medical detox program, giving adults struggling with alcohol or opioid addiction a safe, medically supervised place to begin recovery.
The program will be celebrated with a community launch event on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, in the Gallagher Room at Community Medical Center. Refreshments begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by a presentation at 10:45 a.m. featuring remarks from leadership and a testimonial from a patient whose life has been touched by the program.
Filling a Critical Gap in Care
An estimated 79,000 Montanans struggle with substance use disorders, yet the state offers very few programs for adults who need medical management of withdrawal symptoms. Most existing addiction treatment options are designed for people who have already completed detox — leaving a significant gap for those who are actively using and want to stop but have nowhere to safely begin.
Community Medical Center's new program is designed to close that gap, offering medically supervised detox services to Western Montana residents for the first time.
